Chankhomi Library
A library for Kasungu — funded from Canada.
The Chankhomi School Satellite Library in Kasungu is the fourth library we’ve built, and a brilliant example of generosity travelling halfway around the world.
It was made possible by the supporters of Highland Road United Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada — with our particular thanks to Linda Watt. Like all our libraries, it’s stocked and run by the National Library Service of Malawi, sited in the heart of the community so people can use it without the cost of travel.
Access to books is desperately needed and gratefully welcomed in Malawi. Your church, company or community could fund the next library.
