Blues and Rock in the Garden is a Building Malawi institution — a brilliant day of live music run by Des and Caroline Bowden that has helped fund our projects for years.
Music that builds libraries
This much-loved event has been one of our most successful fundraisers. Together with North Piddle Rocks, the money raised at Blues and Rock in the Garden funded our very first libraries — the Falls and Kaps Satellite Libraries in Lilongwe. Every ticket, raffle and round at the bar has turned into bricks, books and bookshelves in Malawi.
