Information Technology
Computers, connectivity and digital skills for the next generation.
Access to computers and the internet is now essential to education and opportunity — and it’s still scarce in the communities where we work. We build facilities that house IT, so young Malawians can gain the digital skills they need in the modern world.
What we’re building
- Computer clusters within our libraries and schools, giving pupils and the wider community a safe place to learn.
- Digital literacy — basic computing, typing and internet skills alongside the standard syllabus.
- Connectivity where we can provide it, opening up online learning resources.
- Sustainable equipment — facilities can offer private computer lessons, generating income that’s reinvested to keep them running.
You can help equip them
We carry equipment out to Malawi in our volunteers’ luggage allowance, so good, working kit goes a long way. We’re always looking for:
- Laptop computers
- Printers
Everything must be in usable condition — it doesn’t have to be new. See how to donate equipment or get in touch to arrange it.

Time, money or sports equipment — every contribution reaches the ground in Malawi.
