People like you make this possible. We aim to raise just £10,000 a year — roughly the cost of one building — so even the smallest effort makes a huge difference. Here’s how to help.

Ways to make a difference

1. Spread the word — share our site and our story on social media and by email.
2. Volunteer in Malawi — coach, teach, build or garden alongside our team. Find out more.
3. Fundraise — run it, climb it, bake it or shave it, and collect donations through JustGiving. Start fundraising.
4. Come to Blues and Rock in the Garden — our legendary live-music fundraiser. See the event.
5. Donate sports equipment — footballs, kit, goalposts and more (see the wishlist below).
6. Join our committee — give your skills to the cause. Join the team.

It’s so easy to fundraise online. Set up a page at justgiving.com/BuildingMalawi, share it with friends and family, and donations go straight into our bank account — no sponsor forms, no collecting cash.

Donate sports equipment

Malawi suffers from a serious lack of sports equipment, and footballs and netballs don’t last long on hard surfaces. We carry items out in our volunteers’ luggage allowance, so good, working kit goes a long way (it doesn’t have to be new). We’re looking for:

• Footballs, netballs, volleyballs and tennis balls
• Football boots and full team kits (10+ shirts please)
• Goalposts, goal nets, netball poles & hoops, tennis racquets & nets
• Laptop computers and printers

We’ll try to send you a photo of your kit in Malawi to say thank you. Contact us to arrange delivery or collection.
