Kaps Library
A school and a community library in one.
Kaps Model School is a nursery, primary and secondary school built by Booker Kapalamula Banda, with plans to grow into a teacher training centre. We were proud to build a library in its grounds.
Opened in the school grounds and run by the National Library Service of Malawi, the Kaps Satellite Library serves both the school and the wider community. Our volunteer teams have returned over the years to teach English, maths, biology and physical science, and to buy vital textbooks and science equipment for the school.
